My First Bush Walk

We went to Katoomba, Blue Mountains for bush-walking with a bunch of bubbly "mature" friends ; p I was curious what is bush-walking, found out during this trip that it's just normal trekking. Probably I need to go an intermediate treks... hehehe...

 I got bored & restless... hehehe...

 He got bored too... If you look closely the sign on the bench states " SEAT FOR BORED HUSBANDS" ;p I on the other hand made good use of my time... SHOPPING!

We hired a tour van to take us around sight seeing...

This trip I discovered my hubby has some potential in photography... quite nice photos taken... hmmm... another bonus point for him... :p

First Holiday Outing

We went to Port Stephens, just 2 hours drive from where we live. A lovely beach but.... we went there during end of winter ! Blardi COLD... for me lar... Have yet to adjust body temperature to the climate.

Had my first experience of Whale Watching... such magnificient creatures...

Funny situation in the boat... myself and all the tourist were at the upper deck moving around just to catch a glimpse of the whales and the cameramen were rushing from one end of the boat to another trying to shoot a picture of the whales and dolphins. These graceful giants were migrating south... mating season apparently ;)

When the boat was traveling back to land, I went to the lower deck and found mostly asians slumped over the tables after their bout of sea-sickness... GOSH the whole place stinks of vomit... quickly moved back to the upper deck otherwise I'll throw up ; p

My Home

I couldn't imagine from a dingy place I was living in for 5 months to our new apartment. We moved into a new apartment in Nov. Loved this place, neighbours are great! The building was built in 1926. It has ten identical units, each about 100 sqft. Two bedroom and a small study/dinning room, one baths and a small kitchen. Tthis classic 1920's two bedroom plus study apartment is now recognised by the local counsel as a Heritage home. Which that means the building's exterior can not be altered.

My First Boxing Day Sale

This was one of the consequences of my first Boxing Day Sales experience. Including my MacBook, I've spent A$4400 ~ RM13,200 !!!!! Went back home to sum up the spending. My jaw dropped and couldn't close after looking at the total number.

My virgin voyage to the Mac world. After hearing thousand of converted users, I found myself being drawn into this unconsciously... hehehe... Tonight will be burning midnight oil to explore my new toy... HIAKS! See all the boxes and cables around the table... and the panda eyes...

I also bought me hubby a xmas pressie but he didn't want to open it. I still don't understand.

I wonder.... did I just managed to beat my dear friend KT in my recent shopping spree... hmmm...? ; p
