I'm in the mood..... to cook

Saturday came, as usual, hubby will be working and I'm home alone enjoying the solitude. I'm beginning to start cooking again. It has been some time since my last cooking experience. I'm blessed with a hubby who cooks better and enjoys doing the cooking. So the kitchen is not really my territory :-). Guess what I whipped out, vegetable curry. The pic is from Crystal's blog entry. Shy la... my dish didn't turn out this nice, it was rather mushy... ;-p

 

However the dish turns out pretty tasty, and spicy... oooohhhh... the aftermath was enduring at the loo... I truly understand the meaning of "burning lips". Hehehe... I was on the roll, after receiving compliment from my beloved. On Sunday I dug out some stuff from the pantry cabinet, found some split mung bean lentil... *light bulb - ting !*  I made dhal after some research on the internet ;-) This time it was not as mushy as the picture, mine was a dry side. Didn't know lentil will soak up so much water.

Next time, I'll take pictures of the real deal... hehehe...
