An exciting and busy May month ahead

Next month, so many events happening !!! One part of me, feels so EXCITED and another terribly nervous and scared.

We've just bought our very first property in Sydney. At last !!! After renting for nearly 3 years, finally we are dipping our feet in the property market. The place is currently under going massive renovation. So this is Kyle's very first try out as a Project Manager. Who would have thought organising tradesman and deciding the colour of the walls is so stressful. I can't believe it took us a good couple of hours trying to settle for a "white" colour that suits our palette... I can't believe there's so MANY different shades of white ! After choosing the colour, eee-nee-mee-nee-my-nee-moe... now I can laugh about it :) The kitchen, which is hubby's space. He's the chef, a very good one and that explains my prosperous weight  compared to back in KL-days (before the pregnancy lar of course...!). Hubby has changed the kitchen layout numerous times, I'm so grateful that our kitchen builder is so patient.

Next exciting event, my mommy and yeeyee is coming for a visit... and also my parent-in-law!!! At the same time! All here for one reason... waiting for the BIG POP ! hehehe... Now this is the scarry bit. Currently we don't know the gender of the bub. It's going to be a surprise :) So what is your wager on ??? :)

Today I'm 36 weeks Pregnant

How do I look ??? Today marked that I have 4 more weeks to go !!! Time flies. After looking at photos of other preggers, my bubble belly is not so big after all ;) But, no matter how flexible I was before I got pregnant, it is rather difficult for me to reach my feet to give myself a pedicure !!! I'm heading out with Audrey soon to find a decent nail salon that would not charge us an arm and a leg.... sigh... I'm miss home. Going for a mani and pedicure is so reasonable....

Baby Boom

"It's human nature !" said Uncle Lennard. I think so too. Ever since being a pregger, I've been taking notice of other preggers, moms with their new addition their family. Similarly, since we given the keys to our Honda Civic 2 years ago, we can't help not notice another same car same model on the road :-)

Lately we are experiencing a baby boom. It's true... the baby boomers genaration had kids who are now the Gen-X and now the popular Gen-X are having kids of their own. Makes sense right?

The news is just flowing like no end of a friend, friend's freind, relatives, colleagues, colleague's daughter or son's wife... about having a new bub or has just given birth. To name afew....

1)  My BROTHER and Winnie with their new arrival, baby Danni
2)  News hot from the oven, my brother-in-law, Chang, his partner is now having 2 months bubble belly
3)  Kyle's cousin, Kit just gave birth last month to their 3rd kid
4)  My IT colleague in the room next to mine, his wife's bub is 2 months behind mine (PS: Colleague & wife went for their honeymoon about the same time as our's)
5)  Colleague's daughter just gave birth to their 2nd kid 2 weeks ago
6)  My old high school girl friend, Yim Theng, is expecting her 2nd kid just 3 weeks behind mine
7)  An ex-gym-mate, Susan, she is also expecting her second kid in a couple of months time.

Beside this, we heard through the vines... no... through our unit's double brick walls !!! (and they told us as well... hehehe), that our opposite neighbour and also our neighbour in unit above us are trying to start a family too (the "fun" bit of the relationship ;-) ) GOOD LUCK :-) and don't forget to rub fertility statue. I'm not joking, they showed us this little decorative ornament that is supposedly a fertility goddess...
